If you have a charging station installed at home or at work in Flanders, you must report it to the grid operator Fluvius. In the other regions too, you will have to register your charging station with the specific grid operator.
You must always register your charging station on their website via a specific form, even if your charging station was installed some time ago! This reporting obligation, imposed by the VREG, applies to both private and public charging stations, regardless of where they are installed.
To register your charging station properly on the website, you need a few things.
EAN code of your existing electricity connection
Name of your installer
Name of the inspection body
Details of the installation location
Technical characteristics of the installation
...
The information requested does differ between grid operators, so make sure to read through the information on their respective websites carefully.
