How do I set up a PIN code or Face ID/fingerprint for payments?

You set up a PIN code via your profile in the STROOHM App:

  1. Tap Me and choose Settings.

  2. Tap Profile.

  3. Scroll down and open PIN code settings.

  4. Tap Change PIN code, choose a 4-digit PIN code, repeat it and tap Save.

  5. Optional: turn on Biometric recognition (Face ID, fingerprint or another option your device offers). The first time, you'll be asked to log in again.

If you don't turn on biometric recognition, you'll need to enter your PIN code each time. The PIN code is requested, among other things, when paying an outstanding amount, topping up or withdrawing money from your wallet, and adding or removing charge cards.
