What is the difference between a private, semi-public and public charge point?

On the STROOHM Platform, you can set up a charge point in three ways:

  • Private: only you and the members of your account can charge. The charge point is not visible on maps and roaming is not possible.

  • Semi-public: the charge point is publicly accessible, but not visible on maps. Under the AFIR regulation, this is only allowed in specific situations, for example when access is limited to a certain group such as employees, residents or guests.

  • Public: anyone can charge. The charge point can be made visible on maps and roaming can be enabled.

Want your charge points to be private during working hours and public afterwards? You can do this with a schedule.
